We went to Ponta do Ouro and stayed at Maresol Residential Complex. Oh, it was awesome place is beautiful and clean. The locals are amazing its a little bit of heaven. Beach with white sands, would go every month love it so much. Obrigado Amigos.

We had an absolutely amazing, great and awesome stay 14/6/2016. It’s really an awesome place to go and get away from it all. The location of the house is perfect, it’s very peaceful and tranquil. The setting is so beautiful with lush green trees and plants surrounding the house with beautiful sea view to go with it. The house is very spacious, well furnished and very comfortable – we were in need of nothing. We had an exceptional time and experience and would love to go back again.

Joke was that going there we took the sand road as we had in previous years – got properly stuck and couldn’t work out why there we no other cars coming through….
Eventually got out only to discover that there is now a tar road.

I have been coming regularly to Ponta do Ouro for 50 years. Pre Independence and Post War. So I have seen a lot here Mar e Sol is one of best places you can find to stay in Ponta. The units I have stayed at were always finished and furnished to a high standard. Most units have sea view and location is just above best swimming beach area. Above the dive camp. Just it’s a climb up the hill; if you not fit before, you will be afterwards I saw negative post on House # 20, and I’ve just checked today 6.9.2018. I can’t understand what the beef is all about. The place was clean. Everything worked. Fully and comfortable fitted to a very high standard. Fridge, microwave, washing machine, dryer, dstv, air conditioned. Just as it looks on the website. Great value for money. We will most certainly be returning.

We enjoyed our stay at Maresol. We found the people running the complex friendly, helpful and more than willing to help. The actual house was very nice. We had a full house of 9 people. We had a bit of a problem on the first day regarding a power cut, but Noreen (owner) & Victor (from Maresol) went to work on the problem immediately & it was solved a few hours later. All in all it was a good stay & I would return to Maresol.

We had the most wonderful stay this past weekend. Noreen is a wonderful host and her home in Mar e Sol is exquisite.The house was the perfect place for an idyllic weekend retreat.Location is very convenient as the estate has its own private entrance onto the beach. Great security for your car, aircon and a fully equipped kitchen. Highlight of the stay- Waking up with a cup of coffee on the deck watching the sunrise and dolphins playing in the bay.Thank you for having us Noreen. We look forward to coming back.

Unit 20 has a fresh modern decorum. All the amenities were fully functional and the resort staff were hospitable and professional.The resort location is ideal, allowing for privacy when needed but within arms reach of the beach and restaurants.

The unit was very clean and we got a very warm welcome from the staff. We never had difficulties with any anything including hot water we could bath at any time and water would still be hot. We did not have to buy charcoal for braai as we had a gas braai – brand new and clean wow!! The sea view was awesome !!!!!! The security is satisfying and we were given a security pin which we used everyday at the gate leading onto the beach. Would would love to go back again ….
